Tharun Bhascker is on a roll with back-to-back hits, Pelli Choopulu and Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi. With slice-of-life films, the Tharun has established himself as a realistic director who ahs the appeal to connect with the audience making the footfalls increase. Interestingly, now the director has become an actor with Meeku Matrame Chepta, which is Vijay Deverakonda’s maiden production venture.

Tharun Bhascker, Venkatesh to team up?

The latest reports are in that Tharun is now collaborating with Daggubati hero. The director is working on a realistic script in connection with a horse racing which has the potential f an emotional drama. And who else it could be other than Venkatesh Daggubati, who has previously worked on sports drama,  Guru. A source says,  “The film is about horse racing and the kind of emotional investment that goes into the sport. If all goes well, the film might go on floors by the end of the year.”

What is interesting is that  Venkatesh’s son-in-law’s grandfather, Surender Reddy,  is the Chairman of the Hyderabad Race Club.
