Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran made his directorial debut with the film ‘Lucifer’ starring Mohanlal in the lead. Prithviraj, a huge fan of Mohanlal, has given a perfect fan tribute to the actor with the film. Megastar Chiranjeevi was impressed with the film, and he grabbed the remake rights for the movie in Telugu. Initially, he roped in director Sujeeth to helm the film, but he was later replaced with VV Vinayak. The buzz states that Tamil filmmaker Mohan Raja will return to Telugu cinema to direct the Lucifer remake with Chiranjeevi.Chiranjeevi worked with VV Vinayak on the remakes of Ramana and Kaththi.
After Sujeeth, Vinayak worked on the Lucifer script and made some changes to the script. All of a sudden, we hear that Mohan Raja will direct the remake instead of Vinayak.Mohan Raja, who was supposed to direct the Andhadhun remake in Tamil, chose to quit the project and direct the Lucifer remake. Ponmagal Vanthal director Fredrick is the new director for the Andhadhun remake in Tamil.Mohan Raja’s Thani Oruvan was earlier remade to Telugu by Mega Powerstar Ram Charan. The mega family has a close relationship with Mohan Raja, and we have to see if he does a fine job in presenting Megastar the best.Mohan Raja is Tamil hero Jayam Ravi’s elder brother. Mohan made his debut as a director with Hanuman Junction (2001).
