Thandel week 1 box-office collection

Naga Chaitanya’s latest Telugu film, Thandel, has been one of the biggest releases of 2025. The movie is extra special for his fans as it is his first project after marrying Sobhita Dhulipala in December. Starring Sai Pallavi in the lead role, the film is based on a true story and has been performing well at the box office.

Thandel had a strong start, especially during the first weekend. However, its earnings have gradually declined over the weekdays. On day 7, the movie collected ₹1.29 crore by 9 PM, according to early reports. This marks a significant drop compared to day 6, when it earned ₹2.7 crore. The total India nett collection now stands at ₹48.44 crore.

While the film is close to the ₹50 crore mark, trends suggest it may not reach this milestone within the first week. Based on its hourly earnings, Thandel is expected to stay below ₹49 crore by the end of day 7.

Despite the domestic slowdown, Thandel has performed well internationally. The film’s worldwide gross stands at ₹65.55 crore. This includes ₹55.30 crore from the Indian box office and ₹10.25 crore from overseas markets.
