Tollywood actor Ram Pothineni, affectionately known as RAPO by fans, has teamed up with prolific director Boyapati Srinu for their emotionally charged, action-packed film titled Skanda, featuring Sreeleela as the female lead. The highly anticipated movie is scheduled to grace theaters on September 28.
Today, the film’s creators unveiled another song from the soundtrack, which, regrettably, garnered a similar disappointing response as the previous releases. Thaman, the composer, could have taken better care to ensure that the music lived up to fans’ lofty expectations, especially since the director has incorporated the usual mass masala elements that fans adore.
The song, featuring Ram and Urvashi Rautela, failed to captivate fans visually, and Ram’s appearance appeared less impressive than his previous films. It gave off the impression of being a standard item girl song rather than showcasing the actor’s full range of talent.
Furthermore, the tune felt somewhat derivative, resembling a mix of various tracks from the past. Thaman should have composed a distinctive melody to elevate this song to blockbuster status. Unfortunately, he fell short of the mark, leaving fans of Ram Pothineni hoping that the actor and director can still work their magic to salvage the overall film.
