Harom Hara
Streaming on ETV Win, “Harom Hara” stars Sudheer Babu and is directed by Gnanasagar Dwaraka. The film is set in the 1980s in Chittoor and centers around Subramanyam, an illegal firearms manufacturer who gains local support by challenging the political system. Dhoomam
Available on AHA from July 11, “Dhoomam” is a Telugu version of a Malayalam thriller directed by Pawan Kumar. The film addresses tobacco addiction and its effects. It stars Faahadh Faasil as Avinash, a tobacco company marketing head who gets kidnapped and must find a way to save himself and his wife Diya.
Manamey
Premiering on Amazon Prime Video, “Manamey” is a romantic comedy directed by Sriram Aditya. This film marks the return of Sharwanand to the screen after a two-year break. Adapted from the 2010 American film “Life As We Know It,” it follows a man, played by Sharwanand, who must co-parent a child with a woman he dislikes, portrayed by Krithi Shetty. The movie received mixed reviews but was commercially successful earning over Rs 21 crore.
Rakshana
“Rakshana” stars Payal Rajput as a police officer who takes on the system alone. While the streaming platform and release date are yet to be announced, the film also features Shivannarayana, Maanas, Rajeev Kanakala, Vinod Bala, and Anand Chakrapani.
Market Mahalakshmi
Now available on AHA since July 4, “Market Mahalakshmi” is a romantic comedy inspired by “My Fair Lady.” The story revolves around a young man who tries to woo a street vendor despite their class differences. The cast includes Parvateesam, Parneeka Anvika, and Harsha Vardhan.
Satyabhama
Released on June 28 on Amazon Prime Video, “Satyabhama” stars Kajal Aggarwal as a determined cop. Directed by Suman Chikkala, the movie also features Naveen Chandra, Prakash Raj, and Nagineedu. The film hit theaters on June 7 before its OTT release.
