In a tragic incident, a Telugu man Prashanth Kommireddy, hailing from Gajwal died after suffering from a stroke. Incidentally, his wife Divya Komireddy who was due, delivered the baby girl a day later after her husband’s death. According to reports, Prashanth (38) worked for American Airlines, complained of neck pain at his office. Although he was rushed to the hospital, he succumbed the same day.
The matter came to light, after Prashanth’s friend, Santosh Kumar approached Telangana Minister KTR for help through Twitter. He wrote, “Sir, This is NC Santosh from Gajwel, my friend Prashanth k has expired in Dallas@US few hours back due to heart stroke. His wife is expecting a baby tomorrow. My friend’s brother us at US embassy in begumpet trying for Visa need your intervention to expedite the process.” (sic). KTR known for his agility responded soon and helped them.

Meanwhile, NRI community has come forward to help Prashanth’s family on the fundraising website GoFundMe gofundme. So far, the campaign has raised over $380,000.
