In a shocking incident, four of a Telugu family were found dead in their West Des Moines home in the United States. The deceased were identified as Sunkara Chandrasekhar (44), Lavanya (41), two boys of age 15 and 10 years.
According to reports, the bodies were found with gunshots, and the deceased were staying at the home as guests. An autopsy is to be conducted to know the exact nature of the death, said the Iowa police. The police on the primary examination has concluded that no other person has entered the house prior to the incident. It is learnt that Chandrasekhar was in depression and is suspected to have killed his wife and two children and might have ended his life.
“This tragedy will impact family, friends, co-workers, anyone that knew this family,” Sgt. Dan Wade said in a news release. “We are continuing to work through this investigation. We will follow through until we have answered as many questions as the evidence allows. We are confident, though, that there is no continuing threat to the community,” it added.
