Actor Satyadev, known as a character artiste, got introduced as a lead actor with Jyothi Lakshmi, directed by Puri Jagannath. Subsequently, he starred in films like Ghazi, Antariksham, Kshanam in supporting roles earning a good response as an actor. Story:
Uttam Kumar (Satyadev), at the age of seven, develops hatred towards society follwing the detah of his parents. He believes that to sustain in the society only power encapsulated with mone is required. Believing this faith, he commits a number of frauds in the guise of many pseudo names. Despite arrests, he buys lawyers and people to come of the place. However, how his life changes when Avani come in his life. How she changes him into a good person. What are the problems that have become a good stranger? All these questions form the crux of the story.
Performances:
The film revolves around the role of Satyadev. Satyadev aced his role in bluff master very well. In the first half, Satyadev wins audience with his deceiving looks, while in the later portions he shows his acting prowess in emotional scenes. Nandita Shwetha in the first half seemed to be dramatic, however she scores well in emotional scenes in the second half. Other artistes include Aditya Menon, Chiju, Vamsi and Chaitanya who did well.
Analysis:
Gopi Ganesh who remade the Tamil film Sathuranga Vettai in Telugu has succeeded in making the film a success. Even though it did not make many changes of the original story, he showed his mark in the screenplay. He added the commercial elements like duets and fights keeping Telugu audience in mind. Another strength is dialogues. The music provided by Sunil Kashyap is impressive. Cinematography and editing are perfect for the film.
