Currently, the trend of movies based on rural Telangana is on the rise in the Telugu film industry. Yet another film ‘Thurum Khan Lu’ depicting rural Telangana and its culture is all set to entertain audiences very soon.
Produced by MD Asif Jani under the banner Star Film Factory, the film is directed by Siva Kalyan. It has completed its shooting with the final schedule held in Shamshabad.
A revenge comedy-drama set in a village backdrop, ‘Thurum Khan Lu’ is being resurrected in Mahbubnagar slang. The film has almost 90 percent of debutantes playing key roles.
Speaking on the occasion, director Shiva Kalyan said, “I have worked as an assistant director and dialogue writer for quite a number of films in Telugu. My journey of 12 years in the industry has made me direct a movie on my own. I am grateful to producer Asif Jani who believed in my story. ‘Thurum Khan Lu’ is a film about three young men named Brahma, Vishnu and Ishwar who live a happy-go-lucky lifestyle playing pranks on each other.”
Producer Asif Jani said, “With a story of this potential which has natural characters, I felt it should be shot without compromising on the quality. We are going to release this good movie in theatres on a large scale. Once it reaches the audience, I am confident that it surely makes it big.”
