Telangana chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao has announced that medical, helath and police employees will be getting full salary for the month of March along with incentives. KCR made the announcement in the wake of their relentless efforts in checking the pandemic coronavirus spread.
KCR made the declaration after meeting with Health Minister Eatala Rajender, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and DGP Mahender Reddy, among others at Pragathi Bhavan. Previously, KCR said that all the government staff from Chief Minister, State cabinet, MLCs, MLAs, State Corporation Chairpersons, and Representatives of Local Bodies representatives will have 75% salary cut. All India Services cadre employees such as IAS, IPS, IFS and other such Central services Officers stand to face the second highest cut of 60 per cent, while all other category of employees will see their salaries cut by 50 per cent.
Salaries of Class IV, outsourced and contract employees will be cut by 10 per cent as per the government.
