Trouble for Prabhas continues as the Telangana High Court has refused to restore his 2,083-sq. yard land and guest house in the city to him. However, the curt gave some relief to Prabhas by asking the state government to cosider his plea and regularise his land.
Prabhas guest house at Raidurg Pan Maktha was seized last year in December by the revenue authorities. The revenue officials cited the Supreme Court order declaring a parcel of 84 acres of land as government property, in which Prabhas’ land also falls in.
Though the High Court rejected Prabhas’ plea, it found fault the revenue authorities for the forcible dispossession of the land and called it unlawful. Meanwhile, the bench, comprising Justice V Ramasubramanian and Justice P Keshava Rao suggested the actor to approach civil court.
On the work front, Prabhas’s next is a multi-lingual project ‘Saaho’. The teaser, shades of Saaho part-1 and part-2 has already created a huge ripples in the Indian film industry. Bollywood beauty Shradda Kapoor is the female lead in the film while Run Raja Run director Sujith is helming this project. UV Creations is bank rolling this movie and the film will hit the screens on August 15 this year. Apart from Saaho, he is also shooting for Prabhas20, set in European period drama starring Pooja Hegde. Keep watching this space for more updates.
