In many multi-national companies and big corporations, a separate independent panel of members from various legs of life are made part of it, to take care of sexual harassment cases.
Sri Reddy and if social reformists asked for a committee independent of Film Industry, governed by Telangana Government to be formed to take care of sexual harassment complaints from the Industry. The committee is finally set up by the government. With Government Order No. 984, this committee has come into existence. Tammareddy Bharadwaj, Sudhakar Reddy, Dr. Ramadevi, Professor Vasanthi, actress Supriya, Anchor Jhansi, Director Nandini Reddy, social activist Vijay Lakshmi are appointed as committee members.
Telangana Film Development Corporation Chairman Rammohan Rao will head the committee. All the members have sworn to act independently of any pressures for making Tollywood a better place devoid of any sexual harassment.
