Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi has gripped the Telugu states with just a few hours left for the release of the movie. The much-awaited movie is being released in thousands of screens across the world.
Online ticket bookings in big theatres and multiplexes for the next one week have already been blocked. Meanwhile, the makers of the movie approached the Telangana Government seeking special permission to hike ticket prices to cash in on the hype for the movie across the state.

The Government has given its nod for the ticket prices hike. With this the theatres have increased the prices by at least 20% – Rs 70 ticket will cost Rs 100, Rs 150 ticket at Rs 200.
