‘Roja’ and ‘Bombay’ fame popular actor Aravind Swamy who recently appeared in Mani Ratnam’s directorial ‘Nawaab’ is now going to play a crucial role in a biopic this time.
Now, Aravind Swamy is all set to play the role of legendary Tamil actor and former Tamil Nadu chief minister MG Ramachandran in ‘Thalaivi’ movie which is the much-awaited biopic on veteran actress and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha. Kangana Ranaut is on board to play Jayalalitha’s role in the film. Today, on the occasion of MGR’s birthday, the makers have unveiled the first look of Aravind Swamy from the film. The poster featured Aravind Swamy in MGR’s role and the actor is looking handsome. We can say that Aravind Swamy is looking exactly like MGR. The makers also revealed a video which showcased some glimpses of MGR from his old movies.
AL Vijay is helming this project. The movie is gearing up for 2020 release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. Vishnu Induri and Shailesh Singh are jointly producing this film.
