Taraka Ratna no more. Actor Nandamuri Taraka Ratna breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Narayana Hrudayalaya in Bengaluru on Saturday evening. He was 40. The entire Tollywood industry plunged into grief knowing the news of his untimely sad demise.
It may be recalled that Taraka Ratna collapsed on January 27 while accompanying Nara Lokesh during padayatra at Kuppam town. He was immediately rushed to the government hospital where doctors advised the family to shift him to Bengaluru for better treatment.
Although health bulletins kept coming from doctors about his health, nothing positive has taken place. Doctors who attended him kept saying that his health is in danger. For the last two days, Taraka Ratna was not responding to the treatment. American doctors who flew down to Bengaluru, had been closely monitoring his health condition but in vain.
Megastar Chiranjeevi is first among other Telugu celebrities, took to Twitter to express his grief. Other actors too expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Born in 1983 in Chennai, then Madras, Taraka Ratna spent his early days of childhood before shifting to Hyderabad. He completed his primary education from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans.
