Tamil dubbed films are having a dream run at the box-office. Vijay Thalapathy’s Whistle and Karthi’s Khaidi which released on Diwali have received thumbs up from critics and fans alike. Meanwhile, Telugu films Raju Gari Gadhi 3, Hindi film Housefull 4 and Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy were the only few films for the cinephiles left. Since Sye Raa has come to a closure in Telugu states, the audience naturally thronged for the dubbed Tamil films which are roaring at the box office.
Raju Gari Gadhi 3: The film first two instalments did phenomenally well. Banking on it, came the third series but the film tanked at the box office. So Ohmkar has to pull up his socks for his next.
Housefull 4: The previous parts of Housefull were successful in tickling the funny bones of the audience, but Housefull 4 opened to scathing reviews. But it was the multi-star cast the is making the footfalls increase at the theatres.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy: After having a dream run at the box office, the theatrical business of Sye Raa in the Telugu States has come to a closure. Charan has announced that film has raked in Rs 250 crore worldwide, but disappointed with the collections in Hindi belt. The makers could have gained advantage had they aversed clash with Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff WAR.
