Tamannaah Bhatia, the Indian actress, who will be seen next in Bholaa Shankar alongside Chiranjeevi, commented about her performance in the Tamil film Sura alongside Thalapathy Vijay. The movie was released in 2010 and is considered the biggest flop of Vijay’s career. In an interview with a media outlet, Tamannaah revealed that she wasn’t satisfied with her performance in the film and knew it wouldn’t work while shooting itself.
She admitted, I love the film, but there were some scenes I thought I was really bad at. It’s a famous film, and the songs became chartbusters. Sura was one of the films I thought I was very bad in it. Tamannaah Bhatia also mentioned that she wouldn’t take up such roles again in her career.
She emphasized that sometimes the vibe doesn’t work out, but actors still fulfill their commitment. For her, success or failure isn’t everything, and she believes movies are an expensive art form, so actors need to be responsible. It’s all part of the job.
Sura was directed by S. P. Rajkumar and marked Vijay’s 50th film in his career. The movie also featured Vadivelu and Dev Gill in supporting roles. Despite receiving negative reviews and performing poorly at the box office, producer Sangili Murugan revealed that the film managed to recover only its budget.
