Actress Tamannaah who shuttles between many industries from Hyderabad to Chennai and others is spending time with her parents in Mumbai. The lockdown has unleashed doors for many activities; from doing power yoga to learning traditional cuisines and learning to speak in her mother tongue – Sindhi were among many things she was occupied with.
Tamannaah who is a popular face down South is also known for her beauty apart from her acting chops. At a time when public has called out against racism and fairness pertinent in the beauty industry, Tamannaah adds that colour is not the yardstick for beauty. She continues saying that during her heydays she had modeled for Fair & Lovely ad, but emphasises that she was then 15-year-old kid who wasn’t endorsing the brand. She adds that the affection and love from her fans has coined the word but she doesn’t associate with the tag ‘milky beauty’. She underlines the fact that fairness is not the yard to gauge beauty and beauty has not thing to do with colour. She says that even calling someone fair is also a racism.
