Tamannaah and Kajal Aggarwal to be questioned by Puducherry police
Actresses Tamannaah Bhatia and Kajal Aggarwal are reportedly being questioned by the Puducherry police regarding a ₹2.4 crore cryptocurrency fraud. According to reports, a Coimbatore-based company, launched in 2022, deceived investors by promising high returns, leading to significant financial losses.
Tamannaah and Kajal attended different events for this company. Tamannaah was present at the company’s launch event, while Kajal participated in a corporate gathering where top investors were rewarded with expensive gifts. Due to their involvement, the police are seeking clarification on whether they were merely endorsing the events or had financial ties with the company.
Investigations reveal that at least 10 people in Puducherry lost a total of ₹2.4 crore, while a retired government employee claimed to have been defrauded of ₹40 crore. However, no official statements have been released by the actresses.
Despite the controversy, both stars have busy schedules ahead. Tamannaah recently attended the teaser launch of her upcoming Telugu film Odela 2. Meanwhile, Kajal is preparing for her role in Salman Khan’s Sikandar and has a cameo in Kannappa.
These allegations remain unconfirmed, and further investigations are underway.
