In a shocking instance to the Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy filmmakers, the film set made on mammoth scale got demolished by the Revenue officials. The reason learnt is that the revenue officials cited that the film unit hasn’t obtained prior permission to shoot at the permitted place and has unofficially erected the set.

Sye Raa Set Gets Demolished By Revenue Officers

The film’s set was erected at Serlingampally, the same place where Ram Charan’s Ranagsthalam shoot took place. The officials further said that it might be a plot from filmmakers as well to seizes the government and in the guise of a film set. They also said that they would not have demolished the set had the permission was obtained, adding, despite repetitive warning with no one paying heed, they took the stern method.

Needless, the demolition comes as a big blow to the Sye Raa makers. Apparently, 30 percent of film shoot has been wrapped up so far. We are yet to get an official statement from the film unit on the issue.

Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is being helmed by Dhruva fame Surendar Reddy, wherein Chiru is playing the titular role, based on the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. The film is being bankrolled by Ram Charan under his production Konidela Banner.
