Reflecting on the film’s impact, he said, “I didn’t sleep for three days after the release of Kalki 2898 AD because I knew it would influence every South film released in the North. Although it might not create a big impact on Pushpa 2, there will still be an indirect effect.”
The producer also expressed his relief and happiness over Kalki 2898 AD’s success, revealing that it gave him the confidence to announce the release date for Kanguva. He stated, “I announced the Kanguva date on the same day evening when I knew that Kalki is doing well.
