Veteran actress Vijayalakshmi, a known face among Tamil and Kannada audience, is hospitalised due to high blood pressure at Intensive Care Unit at Mallya hospital, Bengaluru. According to reports, the actress is in critical a condition and her family members are requesting the film fraternity to come forward to help her.
Vijayalakshmi’s sister Usha Devi said, “Last week my mother met with a health problem. Now, my sister Vijayalakshmi has been admitted to a hospital. We spent all the money on the mother’s treatment. We are expecting some help from the industry”. Vijayalakshmi roe to fame with Tamil film Friends which also starred Vijay and Suriya. Post the film, she was often seen in supporting roles.
