Suriya 45: Star actress and Suriya reunite after 20 years?

Suriya’s upcoming film, tentatively titled Suriya 45, directed by RJ Balaji, is making headlines with rumors of Trisha Krishnan joining the project. If confirmed, this would mark the actors’ on-screen reunion after 20 years, their last collaboration being the 2005 film Aaru.

Recent viral photos from the set show Suriya and Trisha in a courtroom setup, with Suriya donning a lawyer’s attire. The filming reportedly took place at PSG Institute of Technology in Neelambur, Tamil Nadu. Speculations suggest that Trisha might play a lawyer alongside Suriya in this project.

According to reports, Suriya 45 could be a fantasy drama inspired by the script of Maasaani Amman. Initially planned with Trisha as the lead, the storyline was later revised to accommodate Suriya’s character, possibly integrating elements similar to RJ Balaji’s earlier film Mookuthi Amman.

The film’s first-look poster has already piqued fans’ curiosity. Featuring weapons and a central Vel, it suggests a mythological theme. Suriya expressed his excitement, sharing the poster on social media with the caption “Thrilled.”

RJ Balaji is known for blending social themes with entertainment, as seen in Mookuthi Amman. While Suriya 45 appears to follow a similar narrative style, official details remain under wraps. If Trisha’s involvement is confirmed, this reunion is sure to excite fans who fondly remember their earlier collaborations like Aaytha Ezhuthu.
