Suriya is gearing up for a major comeback after the underwhelming performance of Kanguva at the box office. Among his upcoming projects is his 45th film, tentatively called Suriya 45, directed by RJ Balaji. The film has created excitement with its stellar cast and here are the details.
The film marks the reunion of Suriya and Trisha after nearly two decades. They were last seen together in Aaru (2005) and previously collaborated on Mounam Pesiyadhe and Aaytha Ezhuthu. Reports suggest both actors will play lawyers in this much-anticipated project. Trisha recently celebrated 22 years in cinema on the sets of Suriya 45. Apart from Trisha, the film features several other notable names. Swaswika, known for her performance in Lubber Pandhu, has a significant role. Veteran Malayalam actor Indrans, recognized for his work in films like Nanban, returns to Tamil cinema with this movie. Popular comedian Yogi Babu also joins the lineup.
Another interesting addition is Shhivada, who gained attention for her role in Garudan. Cinematographer and actor Natty, known for his consistent appearances in Tamil blockbusters, is also part of the cast. Fresh talents like Kaathal: The Core actress Anagha Maaya Ravi and Supreeth Reddy will play supporting roles.

Initially, AR Rahman was roped in to compose the music for the film but had to step down due to scheduling conflicts. Sai Abhyankkar now takes charge of the music. The film boasts a talented crew with GK Vishnu as the cinematographer, Vikram Mor handling action choreography, R Kalavanan as the editor, and Arjun Venjaramoodu managing production design.
