Hrithik Roshan‘s Super 30 is all set for a grand release on July 12. The film is based on teacher Anand Kumar who is the brainchild behind Super30, who taught for the underprivileged students making them crack IIT exam. Now, shocking details have emerged where teacher Anand Kumar has confessed to having a brain tumour.
speaking in an interview, Anand says that he is suffering from an acoustic neuroma, a brain tumour, adding this was the reason to have given nod to the biopic at the earliest. He says, “It would have been the best for me if the biopic was made while I was alive- where I could see its journey and watch it myself”.
Elaborating on his problem, Anand says that he encountered a hearing problem. Upon examination, he got to know that 80 to 90 percent of his ability from the rgiht ear is lost. Later, in 2014 when he went for a checkup at New Delhi’s Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, doctors told him that the problem lies not with the ear but the nerve that connects it to the brain where the tumour resides.
Even if the operation is done, there are chances of massive complications of other sensed getting affected, hence Anand is under constant observation where he undergoes periodic analysis to weigh cancer every six months.
The brilliant teacher Anand because of his transformation of children’s life in Bihar was also featured in TIME magazine in 2010 as ‘The Best of Asia’.
