Sunny Leone, from being considered for item songs to essaying as the lead actress, has come a long way. Now, the actress is foraying into Tamil industry with Veeramadevi, where she plays the lead actress and essays the titular role. The makers have released the first look of Veeramadevi which reveals Sunny’s eyes and her hand holding a sword.

For the film, Sunny has left no stone unturned to prepare for her character. “I have always liked doing action sequences. I was waiting for a script like this for a long time. I started preparing for this movie from the minute director V C Vadivudayan narrated the story. I have a special love towards south India. I have a lot of my fans here, especially Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. My character is extremely strong and I think if there is any representation of woman I would love to play, it’s Veeramadevi,” said Sunny.
The film will be released simultaneously in Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu.
