Suniel Shetty is awaiting the release of his upcoming Malayalam film, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham. The film is based on the life of Kunjali Marakkar, a naval chief of the Zamorin of Calicut. The actor is also a part of a Telugu film titled Mosagulla starring Manchu Vishnu, Kajal Agarwal and Naveen Chandra. Now, film maker AMR Ramesh is coming up with a 10-hour long content based on the life of sandalwood smuggler Veerappan and it will be made in multiple languages including Hindi.
While there were reports that actor Kishore has been roped in to play Veerappan’s character in the series, reports suggest that the makers have also finalised Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty for a crucial role. AMR Ramesh recently narrated the script over a call and the actor was quite impressed with his character. Sources say that he will be playing the role of a cop who encountered Veerappan. Shetty was last seen in Rajinikanth’s action-entertainer Darbar, It is also worth mentioning that Suniel Shetty recently made his debut in Kannada with a film titled Pailwaan (2019).
