Poor Sumanth! Nothing seems to be going right for this hero. His film Mallee Rava was a moderate success, but not a big hit that merits headlines. Then his 25th film Subramanyapuram came. This film was given wide publicity and Sumanth himself played a key role in pushing the film through. It barely managed to get back the investments.

Later, Idam Jagat was released. This film came and went without much ado. Nobody is even talking about this film. To add to his woes, both the films got released in the same month. He says Idam Jagat was released at the wrong time and that the film wasn’t promoted the right way.
But, Sumanth is not one to give up that easily. He says he has got some good stories and is hoping that his future would be bright. He says his next film, NR biopic Kathanayakudu, where he essayed the role of his grandpa ANR, is releasing soon. He says it was a great experience to essay his grandpa’s role. When asked as to when the ANR biopic would be released, he said it is left to his uncle Nagarjuna.
