Cutting jokes, making comments and poking fun at the media has become the in-thing for most film heroes these days. The latest to join the bandwagon is Sumanth. He has made some particularly shocking comments on the media during the trailer release of his latest project ‘Subramanyapuram.’ He said if the trailer is directly sent to the media, they would watch in their mobiles and write whatever comes to their mind. Hence, he has arranged a trailer show with Dolby sound. He said the media does not recognise the amount of hard work that the filmmakers put in for their film.
Hero Sumanth Criticises Media
Sumanth may have shown the trailer in Dolby sound for the media. But, what about the viewers who watch the trailer on YouTube of Facebook. They will not have the advantage of Dolby effect. Sumanth must realise that the viewers lap up the films if the content is good. If the content is not good, no amount of padding would help. Sound effects do not save the films. The producers cannot ask the people to watch the film only in multiplexes.
Interestingly, the trailer was out much before the Dolby sound show and the people have reviewed the trailer without the benefit of the Dolby sound.
