Star actress to play key role in Teja Sajja’s Mirai
Mirai, an upcoming Telugu film directed by Karthik Gattamneni, features an exciting ensemble cast, including Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj, and Ritika Nayak. Veteran actors Jagapathi Babu, Rajendranath Zutshi, and Venkatesh Maha also play pivotal roles. Recently, Shriya Saran joined the cast, adding more star power to the project.
Reports suggest that Shriya’s character plays a vital role in the movie’s storyline. Her decision to take up the role was influenced by the character’s significance. Shriya has already completed a week of shooting in Hyderabad and is set to return for further schedules soon.
The film is currently being shot at various night locations in Hyderabad, including Ramoji Film City. This schedule is expected to continue until December 21 or 23.

Teja Sajja takes on the role of “Super Yodha,” while Manchu Manoj plays a fierce warrior determined to acquire sacred scriptures for godlike powers. Mirai promises an intense narrative centered on the eternal battle between good and evil.
Besides Mirai, Shriya Saran is also working on Suriya44, another film directed by Karthik Gattamneni. Further details about both projects will be revealed soon.
Shriya, who was once a reigning star in Telugu cinema, has been away from the industry for some time. Her last notable appearance was in Showtime, a Hindi-language drama series directed by Mihir Desai and Archit Kumar. Produced by Dharmatic Entertainment, the series premiered on March 8, 2024, on Disney+ Hotstar.
With Mirai, Shriya is making a strong comeback to Telugu films, and fans are eagerly awaiting her performance in this much-anticipated project.
