SS Rajamouli has been active in creating awareness of cybercrime. The new-age money looting from online fraudsters has become challenging for Hyderabad City police. On average, the cybercrime police get 10 grievance calls from victims in the city. Most of the victims who have lost money are IT working professionals.
So the Hyderabad police roped in SS Rajamouli to bring about awareness among people. As part of ‘Hack Summit 2023’, the ace director spoke on growing cybercrime and urged everyone to keep a check on such frauds.
He said, “One cannot earn money without hardwork. If you’re easy money without much effort then surely it is going to be a fraud. Everyone should realise from incidents that are happening on the internet. I don’t show any solidarity with the people who get cheated by online fraudsters for the greed to have more money,” he said, adding that people should be aware of nude calls and video calls which are bait to rob money.
