Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero Movie Fails To Beat Rajinikanth 2.0
Aanand Rai’s Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma has opened to mixed responses at the box office ticket window. The film has generated Rs 20.14 crore on its opening day. Nevertheless, Zero has turned as the eighth highest opening film of the year, however, it has failed to beat Thugs of Hindostan, Sanju, Race 3, Gold and Baaghi 2. Trade tracker Ramesh Bala tweeted about the highest opening films of the year.
Zero made on a budget of Rs 200 crores and the VFX is getting good appreciation. Having said that the film’s negative buzz has hampered its trade which has clearly reflected on the day one opening.
