The Malayalam movie Sookshmadarshini, featuring Nazriya Nazim Fahadh and Basil Joseph in lead roles has finally locked OTT date. The film is set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar starting January 11, 2025. Directed by MC, the film was initially released in theaters on November 22, 2024, and has since gained attention for its gripping narrative.

The story follows Priyadarshini, affectionately called Priya, a homemaker living in a suburban neighborhood with her husband and daughter. Life takes a mysterious turn when Manuel, a former resident, returns to the community with his mother, Grace. While the neighborhood welcomes Manuel, Priya grows increasingly suspicious of his peculiar behavior and methods. Her curiosity leads her to unravel secrets about him, taking viewers through a black comedy mystery.
The film explores themes of community, trust, and personal instincts, showcasing Priya’s journey as she collaborates with her friends to uncover the truth about Manuel.
Sookshmadarshini marks the comeback of Nazriya Nazim Fahadh to Malayalam cinema after a brief hiatus. Basil Joseph plays the male lead, while Akhila Bhargavan and Merin Philip take on key supporting roles. Directed by debutant MC, the movie’s music is composed by Christo Xavier, known for his work in Bramayugam.
