Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has emerged third highest grossing film on day one after Padman and Padmaavat. The film has minted Rs6.42 crore, while Padman collected Rs10.6 and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat raked in Rs19 crore on first day. It is worth mentioning here that Luv Ranjan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety clashed with big starrer film Welcome To New York and despite that it beat the latter and fared well.
