The midnight celebrations was an affair of close friends and family. Along with husband Anand Ajuha, the guests included Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor, sister Rhea Kapoor, friends Masaba Gupta, Pooja Dhingra, uncle Anupam Kher and many others. On the professional front, Sonam will be seen in The Zoya Factor which also co-stars Dulqueer Salmaan in the lead role. based on a book with titular name, it is a story of how Zoya turns out to be the lucky charm for the cricket team of World Cup 2010.
