Sonam Kapoor’s big fat wedding has painted the Bollywood in red. The fashionista, post-wedding attended the 17th Cannes film festival. The actress is making news not only for her stunning sartorial but after she took over her husband Anand Ahuja’s which was visible on her Instagram and Twitter handle.
Considered a staunch feminist. many were outraged by her changing her surname. However Sonam unfazed by the outrage, speaking to a daily at ensuing Cannes festival, she said, “I have been engaged for a long time. It took me a long time to decide. It’s a choice, at the end of the day. And if people don’t understand the concept of feminism, they need to go online and look at the description. And how do you know Anand has not changed his name?”
Well, that was a fitting reply to her critics. Isn’t it?
