Ram Pothineni and Boyapati Sreenu have collaborated for Skanda, an action-packed family drama. The movie, released on Thursday, received mixed reviews due to its questionable logic and excessive violence.
Despite the criticism, Skanda grossed a massive 18 crores worldwide, setting a new record for Ram Pothineni’s films.
However, on the second day of release, the movie’s collections dropped to 27 crores globally, raising concerns among the filmmakers.
There’s still hope for a potential increase in collections today, but it’s expected that the movie will conclude its run with the matinee show on Monday.
Sreeleela played the female lead in Skanda, which also includes Skanda 2. Thaman composed the music for this film.
