Sivakarthikeyan to team up with THIS director for his next
In an interview with a popular channel, actor Sivakarthikeyan confirmed he will reunite with director Cibi Chakravarthi, who directed his hit film Don. This upcoming project will begin after Sivakarthikeyan wraps up his current film, tentatively titled SK23, directed by AR Murugadoss. The actor revealed, “My next film after AR Murugadoss’ project will be with Cibi Chakravarthi. It’s exciting to share this news on Pinkvilla. The movie will be an entertainer similar to my previous works.”
For those unfamiliar, Don, released in 2022, was a coming-of-age comedy-drama that focused on a young engineering student struggling to find his true passion. The film, produced by Sivakarthikeyan himself, also featured actors like SJ Suryah and Priyanka Arul Mohan, with supporting roles by Samuthirakani, Soori, and Bala Saravanan. The music for Don was composed by Anirudh Ravichander, adding to the film’s success.

Currently, Sivakarthikeyan is receiving acclaim for his role in Amaran, a biographical film directed by Rajkumar Periasamy. The movie narrates the story of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who heroically sacrificed his life in an anti-terrorist mission. Sai Pallavi stars alongside him, with a supporting cast that includes Bhuvan Arora and Rahul Bose.
Additionally, Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming project, SK23, is a collaboration with AR Murugadoss. This film, rumored to be an action thriller, will star Rukmini Vasanth, known for Bagheera. Once SK23 is completed, he will dive into his new project with Cibi Chakravarthi, marking another anticipated collaboration for fans.
