Ranveer Singh is always seen as an energetic hero and his costumes in films and outside too is outlandish and he appears as if he works in a circus. Deepika Padukone once commented that she tolerates it. So, Ranveer bags a role for real in Cirkus and it will be directed by Rohit Shetty which will be the Golmaal director’s take on Comedy Of Errors. 
The film will also star Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde and Varun Sharma. The filming of Cirkus will start next month in Mumbai and the film is slated for a Winter 2021 release. Cirkus will be presented by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series. This will be Ranveer’s second stint with Rohit Shetty, who had earlier worked with him in Simmba. Ranveer also has a cameo in Sooryavanshi, Rohit’s upcoming film. Varun Sharma too had worked with Rohit in Dilwale, that starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in the lead.
It is for the first time that Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde will team up with the Singham director. The project will take off in Mumbai and will be shot in Ooty and Goa too.
