It looks like the much-anticipated movie “Tillu Square” again got postponed and is set to grace screens in the summer of 2023. The journey to its release has encountered unexpected bumps. Initially generating immense excitement upon the release of DJ Tillu in 2022, the film has witnessed changes in heroines, with Anupama firmly in place.
Despite the initial buzz, each song release failed to sustain the anticipated frenzy. Rumors suggest that film is getting lot delayed again, with gossip circulating about Sidhu’s struggles in making lot of multiple changes to film to suit his taste.
In a surprising turn, the movie’s initial release date Feb 9th was already given to the Eagle movie. Speculations hint at the possibility of postponing “Tillu Square” before the Eagle release. Meanwhile Till Square producers another film Vishwak Sen’s “Gangs of Godavari” slated for March release. Later March and April has election and exam dates and those months are obviously not suitable for release of any movie.
So, Choosing the summer season for “Tillu Square” release appears strategic amidst these challenges. Despite sacrificing the initial date to Eagle, there seems to be a calculated move to leverage the favorable season for movies during the anticipated summer release.
