While the entire Tamil Nadu is plunged in grief with the death of Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) chief M Karunanidhi’s death, Shruti Haasan has been trolled by fans and others over her irrelevant tweet.

Shruti, who is in London has tweeted, “So much fun working with these two !!!! @danjlancaster @mikeduce. [sic]” This didn’t go down well and the Tweeple questioned her is she aware of the atmosphere in Tamil Nadu and why hasn’t she paid condolence tweet on Karunanidhi’s demise. One of the users wrote, “Hey girl, come out from your world & check what’s going on in Tamil Nadu. Please grow up yaar.”

DMK chief M Karunanidhi died today (August 7) at the age of 94 in Kauvery Hospital in Chennai. The DMK patriarch who has been battling with serious ailments for the last 11 days dies due to multi-organ failure. The doctors were constantly issuing a statement about his health update and said that it was a challenge to ressurect owing to his age.
Scores of Kalaigar’s supporters and party workers have assembled outside the Kauvery Hospital. The DMK patron has served as Tamil Nadu chief minister for five times and also holds a record of not losing poll since his first political victory in 1957 and this July he completed 50-years as DMK chief.
The senior police officials have issued an alert and tight vigilant to avoid any disharmony in the state.
