Saaho actress Shraddha Kapoor has surprised her little fan who is suffering from an ailment. The 13-year-old fan identified Sumayya suffers from tuberculosis and is a huge fan of Aashiqui 2 actress, and wished to meet her. Ketto, India’s crowd funding source, tweeted the message to Shraddha which reads, ” 13 y/o Sumayya is diagnosed with 3rd-stage Tuberculosis leading to her #liver failing completely and she needs an urgent liver transplant. As she fights between life and death, her only wish is to meet her favourite actress @ShraddhaKapoor.”
Shraddha soon responded to it and met the girl. The actress seen in a burqa is posing with Sumayya and also asked Ketto how could she held her. Her tweet reads, “I’m so so happy that I was able to go & meet Summaya today. She’s such a precious little angel. Praying for her recovery. @ketto please let me know how I can help with her treatment & all the best with all the work you guys are doing ❤.”
Sumayya is undergoing treatment at the KEM Hospital, Mumbai, for the past four months. Doctors informed her parents that her liver had got acutely damaged and needs to be operated for which Rs 30 is required. Her father, Shaikh Saleem Mohd Hussain, works as a taxi driver and couldn’t afford treatment. “Any Amount Big or Small is Extremely Important for Sumayya. So pls donate and help us save her life,” reads a statement on Ketto’s report.
