The movie’s recently released teaser turned out to be a YouTube sensation and became the most-viewed Indian film teaser ever released. Now, an intriguing piece of information about the movie has made headlines.
If the rumours are true, the OTT rights have been sold for a whopping 200 crores rupees. However, the streamer is unknown now, and the rumour is yet to be confirmed. If it’s true, then this would be the highest amount ever offered for a Telugu film.
Salaar features Shruti Haasan, Jagapati Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and others in prominent roles. The action thriller, produced by the Kannada production house Hombale Films, has been made on a huge budget, with music by Ravi Basrur. The makers have planned to release the movie on a grand scale on September 28.
