Everyone eyes are on Rajamouli’s RRR. Considering his last out two-part series Baahubali was a blockbuster hit rising standard of Indian cinema and RRR is the first film after Baahubali, the expectations are sky-rocket. While Rajamouli has zeroed in Ram Charan and Jr NTR as the lead actors for the multi-lingual, and Alia Bhatt’s name came up and was also speculated that Rajamuli offered the role. But here comes the shocking news as Alia Bhatt has turned down the offer despite being paid a hefty amount.
The reason turns out that Alia Bhatt has a tight-packed schedule following which she turned down RRR. It now appears Rajamouli’s hunt for RRR’s lead actress is not coming near. RRR set in 1920, a period drama, is said to have Charan playing Rama while Jr NTR as Ravana. Made on a budget of Rs 300 crores is likely to get released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. RRR is expected for Sankaranthi 2020 release.
