In recent times, Sharwanand’s movies have been facing challenges, with many of them performing poorly or just reaching average levels at Box-office. However, Sharwanand surprised many by signing up for a high-budget film, which garnered a lot of attention. He is collaborating with Director Sriram Aditya for this project, backed by People Media Factory, with Krithi Shetty as the female lead.
However, reports suggest that Sharwanand’s upcoming film is encountering budgetary concerns. Over 70% of the shooting has been completed, and the remaining part is expected to finish this year. The budget for the film has reportedly exceeded the initial estimates, approaching close to 50 crores by the time shooting is finished.
This 50 crore budget poses a significant challenge for the movie, as it will need to generate substantial buzz to recover the budget through theater and non-theatrical rights. The issue of going over budget is not new for Sharwanand’s films, as it has happened with a few of his recent projects. However, the responsibility for this budget escalation falls on the shoulders of the producer and director rather than Sharwanand himself.
On a positive note, the film unveiled a glimpse of Krithi Shetty’s character, Subhadra, on her recent birthday. Her role is well-defined and essential to the entire storyline, extending beyond being just the hero’s love interest.
The movie’s title is set to be announced at a grand event. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad, this untitled film features music by Hesham Abdul Wahab. The film’s progress will be closely watched, especially considering the financial challenges it faces due to its significant budget.
