May 28 marks the 97th birth anniversary of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). Born in a village – Nimmakuru, Krishna district, NTR is among very few persons who tastes success in cinema and as a politician too. He established the Telugu Desam Party in 1982. He successfully served as the Chief Minister of unified Andhra Pradesh for three tumultuous terms.
