The Vamsi Paidipally directorial went on to make a whopping Rs 300 crores at the box office worldwide. Now the grapevine has it that his new film titled ‘Leo’ has earned a staggering Rs 246 crore from digital, satellite and music rights. It is learnt that the Tamil star Vijay is taking home anywwhere between Rs 150 to Rs 160 crore as remuneration.
Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is helming ‘Leo’, is basking in the success of his last outing ‘Vikram’. The film starring Superstar Kamal Haasan , earned critical appraise from both audiences and critics.
Meanwhile, the new film ‘Leo’ is being bankrolled at the cost of Rs 250 crore. Boasting the who’s who of Bollywood — Sanjay Dutt, the film bets big in Hindi as it already bagged huge money from Hindi dubbing rights. This pan-India flick boasts an ensemble cast of south diva Trisha, Arjun Sarja, Mansoor Ali Khan, Gautam Vasudev Menon, Priya Anand among several other actors in key roles.
