With ensuing coronavirus pandemic fear and in regard to public safety, Telangana government has announced closure of malls, casinos pubs, educational institutions till March 31 which comes in effect from Saturday night. The move comes after other states like Delhi, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh have taken similar move.
Public exams
Although the schools will be shut down, the public exams will take place as per schedule. Meanwhile, chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Saturday held a meeting to chalkout action plan of remedial measures for coronavirus. Health Minister Etela Rajender, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, DGP M. Mahender Reddy and other officials attended the meeting.
Meanwhile, after the lone Telnagan coronavirus techie got discharged from state-run hospital, officials reported one more positive case of the novel coronavirus on Saturday.
