Sarkaru Vaari Pata is Mahesh Babu’s latest presentation that has been directed by Parasuram. The film has been released with a good buzz and, read on to see if the film has any juice in it or not.
Plot
Mahesh(Mahesh Babu) is a loan recovery agent who gets cheated by Kalaavathi(Keerthy Suresh). In order to put Mahesh in his place, Kalaavathi brings her dad, Rajendranath(Samuthiraikani). This starts a new war and Mahesh comes to know that Rajendranath is himself a huge loan evader and has cost so many lives. So, he decides to teach him a lesson and get him to pay all the dues. Well, how does he do that is the story of SVP.
Performances
Mahesh Babu comes with a new look that suits him quite well. When it comes to satisfying the fans, he passes with full marks. The way he does action, romance, and comedy is very nice to see on screen. As an actor, there is nothing much for him to showcase in SVP. But when it comes to swag and mass elements, he is top-notch.
Keerthy Suresh is a surprise package for the film and she is superb. Her role makes a lot of sense in the first half but looks silly in the second. The manner in which she teases Mahesh is shown nicely in the film. Vennela Kishore’s comedy along with Mahesh is quite good. Samuthiraikani is very good as the bad man from Vizag and brings freshness to the film with his screen presence.

Analysis
The film is based on loan recovery from a corrupt politician. This angle in the story looked nice but the issue is not established properly from the beginning of the film. Things start late in the story and by then the director Parasuram does not have much time to engage the audience with his emotions.
The first half of the film has been kept quite entertaining with a fun track featuring the lead pair. The manner in which the love track leads to the main twist is also thought of quite well by the director. The songs are a big highlight as they have been shot so well and the masses will enjoy them.
The camerawork is amazing and the dialogues are crowd-pleasing. But all this is short-lived in the second half where things are rushed to the audience. The whole concept of Mahesh getting involved in a loan recovery from a politician looks fake and is forced into the narrative. But still, Mahesh Babu manages to engage the audience with his act.
Sarkaru Vaari Pata surely does not live up to the hype created but Mahesh makes sure that the audience does not get bored. If you watch the film through his eyes, you will like it but apart from it, there is nothing to rave much about.
Bottom Line – So-So mass drama
