Saripodhaa Sanivaaram revolves around the character Surya, played by Nani, who struggles with severe anger issues. Since his teenage years, Surya has been battling this emotional challenge. His mother, a pivotal figure in his life, suggests that he manage his anger by allowing himself to get angry only on one particular day each week — Saturday. This rule shapes his behavior as he learns to maintain calm for most of the week while reserving his frustration for just one day.
However, things take a drastic turn when his mother passes away on a Saturday, leading Surya to interpret her death as a final message. He believes that her passing on that day gives him permission to fully unleash his bottled-up anger. This leads him to adopt a unique lifestyle where he lives peacefully from Sunday to Friday, but allows his fury to take over on Saturdays.

As the film progresses, Surya finds himself confronting a new antagonist in the form of a tough police officer, Dayanand, portrayed by SJ Suryah. The movie focuses on the intense conflict between these two characters and how Surya’s controlled yet violent behavior escalates the situation.
